With her first album, Avril Lavigne urged us to simply let go - now, get ready to get under her skin! The sk8er girl herself will be at Much Music, May 28th @ 8pm ET for an exclusive Intimate & Interactive special hosted by George Stroumboulopoulos! 

They will get you ready for the big show with a 'Countdown To...' special at 7pm ET featuring Avril soundbites and videos. Then at 8pm ET it's Avril LIVE - she'll discuss her upcoming release 'Under My Skin' and perform songs from it as well as tracks from her blockbuster debut 'Let Go.'

Avril's dropped by before, but this is the first time she'll be here for a full 90 minutes - so it's an event not to be missed!

» Avril is a strong supporter of War Child Canada, a Canadian charity that provides humanitarian assistance to war-affected children around the world. She contributed a song to last year's 'Peace Songs' CD, a compilation that raised funds for War Child's international aid projects.
